This Privacy Policy explains what personal information Krishna Canvassers ("we", "us") collects through krishnacanvassers.com, how we use it, and the choices you have. We are a pulses brokerage based in Mumbai, and we handle personal information in line with the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 of India.

1. Who we are

Krishna Canvassers is the sole proprietorship of Rohit Poptani, GSTIN 27AZJPP2818B1ZG, with its office at B-909/10, Groma House, Vashi, Mumbai 400705. You can reach us using the details at the end of this page.

2. Information we collect

• Information you send us. When you use the enquiry form, WhatsApp, phone or email, we receive what you choose to share, such as your name, phone number or email address, the pulse you are interested in, the quantity, and your message.
• Technical information. Our website is hosted by Netlify, which records standard server information such as your IP address, browser type, the pages requested and the time of the visit. This is used to deliver the site and keep it secure.
• Fonts. The site loads fonts from Google Fonts, so Google receives your IP address when a page loads.

The enquiry form on this website does not send your details to a database. It opens your own email app with the details filled in, and the message reaches us only when you press send. This website has no user accounts and does not take payments. At the time of writing, it does not use advertising or tracking cookies.

3. How we use your information

• To reply to your enquiry and prepare offers, quotations and contracts.
• To arrange shipment, documents, customs clearance and delivery when you go ahead with a transaction.
• To keep business, tax and accounting records as the law requires (for example under GST and customs rules).
• To keep our website and systems secure, and to protect our legal rights.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for advertising.

By contacting us or sending an enquiry, you agree that we may use the information you provide for the purposes above. You can withdraw your consent at any time by writing to us, although we may still need to keep some records for legal reasons.

5. Who we share information with

We share personal information only when it is needed for the purposes in section 3:

• With sellers, buyers, transporters, shipping lines, customs brokers, banks and insurers, to the extent needed to quote, complete or deliver a transaction you have asked about.
• With service providers who help us run our business, such as Netlify (website hosting), Microsoft (email) and WhatsApp (messaging).
• With courts, tax and customs authorities or other government bodies, when the law requires it.

6. WhatsApp and other third-party services

If you contact us on WhatsApp, or follow a link such as directions on Google Maps, that service handles your information under its own privacy policy. We are not responsible for how third-party services use your information.

7. How long we keep information

We keep information for as long as we need it for the purpose it was collected, and for as long as the law requires us to keep business, tax and accounting records. After that we delete it or make it anonymous.

8. Security

We take reasonable steps to protect the information we hold. No website or method of electronic communication is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Your rights

You may ask us to tell you what personal information we hold about you, to correct it, or to delete it, and you may withdraw your consent or raise a complaint about how we handle your information. Write to us using the details below and we will respond within a reasonable time. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may approach the authority provided under Indian data protection law.

10. Children

This website is meant for businesses and adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
